Darroll S. of Sleepy Eye MN contacted Complete Basement Systems to address the musty smell in the basement of his home. In his previous home in Waseca, MN we installed a Complete system for waterproofing and he really liked the sump pump system. We updated Daroll's sump pump system with our patented SuperSump Pump System and installed an efficient dehumidifier system that works to drain water from the unit to the sump pump system.
Mountain Lake homeowner wanted to add additional living space to his home, and the unfinished basement was the perfect option. He worked with Complete Basement Systems to have an egress window installed so that he can add a bedroom as he finishes the basement space.
When our Design Specialist Ryan went to visit with this homeowner about her water issues in the basement, she decided she also wanted to add an egress as she was going to refinish the basement once it was dry. Adding an egress will allow much more light in than a regular basement window. And since she plans to use this space as additional living space in her home, this egress is designed for someone to be able to escape the basement in case of an emergency such as a fire. Not to mention, it's more aesthetically pleasing.
Let us know if you are interested in adding an egress window to your basement!
Our customer in Hutchinson, MN just purchased a home and wanted to seal up the crawl space to reduce radon and smells from the other living space in the home.
Our System Design Specialist, Ryan Brenner met with the homeowners to address their concerns. Ryan designed a solution that involved encapsulating the crawl space with CleanSpace Liner along the floor and thermax insulation along the walls.
Our customer is now able to use the crawl space as added storage of things and having piece of mind of that they will be protected.
