Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Happy To Have A Dry Basement After 30 Years! Pipestone, MN
Tom of Pipestone always had a major seepage problem in his basement. One spring was signifigantly worse and decided to call in a professional in basement waterproofing and took to the internet to begin the search.
We're glad Tom contacted us being in business since 1975 and helping homeowners with wet basement problems is all we do everyday!
Tom met with our System Design Specialist for a free inspection of the problem he called us about and it was evident he had a water problem as the both of them stood in water walking into the basement.
Our System Design Specialist showed Tom exactly what caused his basement to leak and how a permanent solution would solve his problem once and for all.
After understanding the solution and preparing the estimate of the work suggested, Tom went ahead with the installation date to waterproof his basement.
The installation team got to work and installed our patented WaterGuard Drainage System, two SuperSump Pump Systems with a UltraSump Battery Back-Up, and CleanSpace Wall System.
Tom's overall experience with our company he stated was "Excellent, Professional, Knowledgable & Courteous Team"
Visible signs of a water problem
During the inspection of the home, standing water was on the floor. Common water seepage occurs where the floor and wall joint meet.
WaterGuard Drainage System Installation in Progress
WaterGuard is installed after concrete is busted out and installed at the footing. Allowing water that would collect between the floor and wall joint, giving it a place to go. A CleanSpace Wall System is installed in the event of wall moisture occurs also collecting in the WaterGuard System. We installed additional tile lines in this home, due to the large amount of water this home has seen.
SuperSump Plus With An UltraSump Battery Back-Up Installed
Rock is poured over the WaterGuard Drainage System and drains into this new SuperSump Plus Sump Pump System with a Battery Back-Up. Concrete is poured over the WaterGuard and Rock is the final step.
