Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Water In Basement With Heavy Rainfall In Woodstock, MN
When it rains, Steve & Brenda P. of Woodstock would experience water in the basement. The home had been in the family and was never a problem before, but until recently, it seemed to always happen no matter the amount of rain.
After contacting a professional company who specialized in this type of work, an appointment for a FREE estimate was scheduled for Steve and Brenda.
During the inspection at their home, the problem was happening in a finished part of their home in the basement, which was also near an egress window. The egress window would fill up with water and did not have any where for that water to go and water was finding its way behind their finished wall.
A solution was shown to them on how our company can solve the water problem. Our installation crew will install WaterGuard, which is a perimeter waterproofing system that will collect any ground water entering the foundation at the floor and wall joint. A WellDuct Window Well Drainage System was also installed to collect water filling up in their egress window well and any water coming through that entry point, will drain into the WaterGuard perimeter system. The WaterGuard system drains into a sump pump basket.
For this particular project, our customer did not want to replace their sump pumping system, so the waterproofing system is tied into their old sump pump basket.

Finished Basement Before Installing Waterproofing and WellDuct System
Demolition of the lower part of the walls is done by the homeowner in preparation for a proper waterproofing installation system.
WaterGuard and WellDuct System installed
A perimeter WaterGuard system is installed along the perimeter of the home and will capture any ground water seepage entering between the floor and wall joint. A WellDuct system is installed underthe window and has a strainer that will collect water to channel through the WellDuct product and into the WaterGuard system.
Existing Sump Pump Tying WaterGuard
Our WaterGuard system is tied into our customer existing sump basket. We upgraded them with a new Zoeller motor that is a better quality pump to be able to properly pump the water out, up to 2,220 gallons per hour.
