Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Church Basement Waterproofing in Madelia, MN
The Trinity Lutheran Church in Madelia contacted Complete Basement Systems after they got water in one area in the church basement. The problem started after they had a ramp installed, and thought that had caused the problem.
After inspecting the area for a solution to the problem, it was apparent that water had found its way between the floor and wall area and needed a sump pump system to collect the water flow.
The installation team installed WaterGuard drainage system along the perimeter outside wall, and a vapor barrier on the walls called CleanSpace wall system along with a new SuperSump pump pumping system with outside drainage to our patented IceGuard product.

Perimeter waterproofing in progress
A trench is dug out and the WaterGuard track is set and rock is placed inside the trench as well. The sump pump system is set and in place ready to collect and pump any water seepage.
CleanSpace Wall System
CleanSpace Wall System is a vapor barrier installed on the walls to protect from any wall moisture, seepage from cracks. The concrete work is poured onto the waterproofing system.
IceGuard discharge line
The IceGuard is a product that prevents freeze ups in the winter. The discharge line from the sump pump system is buried and when that line freezes, the iceguard will discharge that water.
