Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing System Installation Mankato, MN
Joe & Dawn of Mankato noticed vertical cracks on their poured foundation and getting water in their finished basement. Their family was about to expand with a baby coming soon and really needed the basement waterproofed to get ready to refinish and have the extra living space for their growing family.
Our System Design specialist and Installation team got to work to help them keep with their timeline and completed the job within two weeks from their inital contact to our company.
To ensure a dry basement for our customer, some of the finished walls needed to be removed for proper installation of the system. WaterGuard was installed along the full perimeter of the home, CleanSpace Wall System was installed on the walls to work as a vapor barrier to protect any finished walls from water seepage. Also a sump pump system called the TripleSafe sump pump system was installed to keep the basement dry ALL the Time.
Home's Original Sump pump system
Newly constructed homes are built with a standard sump pump system, that has just a motor and lid in a perforated basket.
Finished basement leaking
Our customers had already cut up the walls to show where the problem was occurring.
TripleSafe Sump Pump Installation
We updated the customers sump pump system with the TripleSafe system that has 3 pumps in 1 that includes a battery operated back up system in the event of a power outage.
Installing WaterGuard
Cleanspace Wall System was installed on the 1/2 basement walls to prevent any moisture leaks and a perimeter WaterGuard System to collect any ground water seepage from the floor and wall joint.
