Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing in Jackson, MN

Jackson, Minnesota homeowners had ongoing moisture problems and concerns about the walls that were bowing. Unfortunately, this situation happens all too often. Luckily, the homeowners worked with Rob Larson to design a system that solved all of their problems so that they can use their basement confidently, knowing that it will be dry, livable, and safe for the life of the home!

Before: Signs of a Moisture Problem

Cracks in the walls are a sign that moisture likely is able to enter the space. On top of that, there was mildew built up in areas where moisture had been.

Getting to Work

After preparing the space, the crew used jackhammers to remove concrete around the perimeter of the space.

Making Progress

Next, the crew installed CleanSpace, a wall vapor barrier, and PowerBraces, a wall bracing system. These products will work to prevent moisture and protect the foundation of the home.

WaterGuard Installation

Next, the crew installed the WaterGuard waterproofing system along the perimeter of the space.

Final Touches

Then, the crew replaced the concrete over the top of the system so that the homeowner can finish the floors to their preference.

Clean Up

Once the crew finished the installation, they worked to clean the space.

Final Walk through

Finally, the crew leader walked the homeowners through their new system to ensure that they are comfortable with the completed project! Now, they can choose to finish the basement or use it for additional storage, knowing that it will be dry, livable and safe!
