Before: Obvious Moisture Problem
Shop vac and all, this photo perfectly demonstrates just how big of a moisture problem our homeowner and her family had been dealing with.
Preparing for WaterGuard
The crew removed concrete from the perimeter of the space, which is where the WaterGuard waterproofing system would be installed.
Weep Holes
The crew created "weep holes" along the exterior. This will allow water to be rerouted directly to the waterproofing system.
CleanSpace Installation
The CleanSpace wall vapor barrier ensures that any moisture that previously entered the basement through the walls is now displaced with the waterproofing system.
Precision
The crew worked diligently to ensure that the system properly tied together to maximize effectiveness.
WaterGuard
WaterGuard, our patented waterproofing system, collects all water from the home and transfers it to the sump pump, which then removes the water and disposes of it through an exterior discharge line.
Installation Progress
After installing the SuperSump sump pump, the crew placed rock over the waterproofing system, which will work to prevent debris from getting into the system.
Finished Product
After completing the system installation, the crew replaced all the concrete around the perimeter of the space so that the homeowner can confidently finish the basement or use the space for storage.
