Adding an Egress in Canby, MN

Challenge

This customer was ready to add a bedroom to his basement area. In order to do that, we needed to swap out an old inefficient window with a new egress.

Solution

We dug a well and installed our RockWell surround as well as a new EverLast Window. This meets the legal requirements to have a legitimate bedroom in the basement. This egress will allow for a person to escape the basement in case of an emergency that renders other exits unsafe. Adding an egress can also add value to your home!

Here is the view from inside the basement. The RockWell Window Well is a one-piece, rigid construction that will not collapse from backfill or allow water to leak through the well walls. They are UV stable, rust and rot proof, and stand up to extreme temps.
