Basement Waterproofing & Foundation Wall Repair in Blue Earth, MN

Challenge

This basement in Blue Earth, MN has a block foundation behind the finished wall panels currently in place and over time the homeowners had noticed a bowed wall and some buckling happening throughout the foundation walls. They also had noticed moisture in the basement during heavy rain and in the spring when the snow melted. The homeowners felt it was time to do something about this problem as they have been in the home awhile and it just wasn't getting any better, only worse as time went on. Our customer had driven by our building many times and decided to stop by one day and talk through the problems they've been having. Our company scheduled a free consultation to meet with them at the home and we turned their basement into a dry, livable and safe space again.

Solution

After a free, no obligation estimate, we were ready to transform this failing foundation and damp basement into a safe space for our customer. We wanted to protect our customers home for years to come and this required installing our industry leading waterproofing and foundation wall products.

Complete Basement Systems solved the water and moisture issues by installing our WaterGuard subfloor drainage system with a SuperSump Pump System to ensure the basement would stay dry, no matter the weather.

In order to stabilize the foundation walls from bowing in, CBS installed 16 PowerBrace support beams to prevent any further wall movement from happening. Our customer liked the idea of a solution being done on the inside of the home versus an exterior solution that would disrupt their landscaping.

CleanSpace Wall System installed on the foundation walls and WaterGuard installed along the perimeter wall. Concrete will be finished over the system, however the installation team needs to install the support beams.
