Due to uncontrolled moisture, insulation was ruined, which created both an energy and safety hazard for the home.

So many red flags in this picture! Organic material (wood) to finish and protect walls, which then created mold - quite the health risk!
Moisture
Block walls allow for moisture to get through the seams, causing wet basements in the spring, and an unhealthy home year-round due to the mold that develops.
Old Sump

Ben lays out the sump system parts to ensure that everything is in good condition and ready to be installed.
