After living in the home for about 5 years, they began to notice water seepage in the old part of their basement. An addition was added to their home which had a sump pump put in and didn't get water in that area, and the basement with no sump pump was getting extreme water seepage. At the time of our initial inspection at the home in Oak Park Heights, MN, there was an enormous amount of standing water throughout the basement. The homeowners had a shopvac to clean up the water, this was happening already in early spring and knew that this problem was only going to get worse overtime. The solution involved installing an interior drainage system with a new sump pump, featuring WaterGuard with CleanSpace Wall System and two SuperSump pump systems. Accomplishing this leaky basement will leave our customer free from ground water seepage for the life of the home and will have peace of mind to finish the basement and knowing it will be dry to create added space for their family.

First Stage of Waterproofing

Jackhammers are used to bust the perimeter concrete to properly access the foundation footing to install the waterproofing system.

When we install the waterproofing system, the installation team drills a weep hole to get all the water out of the block. Your foundation blocks hold an incredible amount of water creating pressure. The is a clear picture seeing the water weeping out of the block after drilling the hold relieving the pressure.
