These homeowners used their basement as a storage area. They had a lot of sentimental belongings at risk of moisture damage due to leaky walls. They wanted the space dry, usable and safe.
Solution
The solution we recommended was a WaterGuard Drainage System, a CleanSpace Wall System,a top of the line TripleSafe sump pump system, a LawnScape Discharge Line with IceGuard and a high performance dehumidifier. We installed the WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement and hung the CleanSpace on all the exterior walls. The discharge line was buried in the back yard so it's out of the way. The IceGuard will prevent any backups from the line being frozen or clogged. The CompleteAire Dehumidifier is plumbed into a drainage system so there is no need for emptying. Very low maintenance system! The TripleSafe Sump Pump System has 3 layers of protection including a battery back up that will kick in if there is a power failure.
